Our story
Adrian Sistem was founded in 1992 in Bucharest, out of the passion for technical glassblowing belonging to Petru and Gabriela Stefanescu. Master glassblower Petru Stefanescu teamed up with experienced glassblowers from the old, stateowned company in which they had previously been colleagues. In this new venture there were only 4 people at the beginning. In the years to come the company expanded to 20 employees. In this time the company has worked tirelessly with businesses from many countries. Adrian Sistem has provided high quality glass blown products and has produced from the simplest pieces to components of very high complexity.
Company history
October 1992
Company is founded by Petru Ștefănescu (master glassblower) și Eng. Gabriela Ștefănescu (silicas chemisitry engineer).
1994
The company started its activity with 3 glassblowers and the glass master working side by side with them in an old cottage in the Popa Nan area in Bucharest.
1995
The company develops and leases a larger space within the "National Glass Institute"
1998
First participation with a stand at an international fair - MACEF Milan
September 2001
First participation with stand at the international decoration fair - Tendance - Messe Frankfurt

First participation with stand at the international decoration fair - Ambiente - Messe Frankfurt

Products
The range of products we currently manufacture are from the following categories: Standard laboratory glassware according to the DIN standard High complexity glassware (14 coil condensers, Kjeldahl flasks, different purpose columns, RODAVISS products, Rotavapor condensers, reactors etc). Custom glassware according to the client’s necessities and designs. We process any type of laboratory glassware to a maximum of 260mm diameter, at the moment.
Services
We offer knowhow services, maintenance and service if the necessity arises. Our solution oriented design department helps all clients reach their goals regarding their products. In producing the glassware we use the most modern tools, however, for special needs we create our own tools as well. Adrian Sistem is a ISO 9001:2008 certified company and all products are in conformity with this quality standard.
Other activities
The company has also developed its creative part through the design of Gabriela Seres in the art of decorative glassware and unique lighting pieces. The designs and also the brand are present in luxury stores globally in countries like: USA, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Italy, Romania, The Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Mexico etc.
